"Your web site does not due the house justice, and the food was the
best we have ever had"— James - Katy, TX

"We came to relax and reconnect. We were able to do both at your
wonderful place. We will definitely be back"— Jeannie - Houston, TX

"First off, I wanted to send a HUGE thank you for helping make this
past weekend one of our best in years! My husband and I were
desperately in need of a weekend away in the hill country. I
stumbled across your website in our search. My profession is
internet marketing, so I'm always weary in relying solely on web
presence for making decisions, as I know how things can be made to
look better than truth with the correct photography and wording. :)
Your property and experience was better than anything I expected!
Thank you for making us feel welcome and all of the thought and care
that you put into your guests. We got our chance to relax in
beautiful surroundings, ate the best breakfasts of our lives, and
left with newfound friends. We will definitely be back and will
recommend your B&B to friends and family."— Shanda - The

"It's difficult to say what we loved more about this place, the
food, the service, the room, or being able to feed the deer! Diane
Reed does an excellent job of creating a peaceful retreat, where you
can relax and commune with nature. We came home and immediately
recommended Biscuit Hill to everyone we know. We have even had friends
go there for their honeymoon! We will be back!"— Kim - Bedford

"My husband and I have had the pleasure of staying at Biscuit Hill
on many occasions and the atmosphere, rooms and amenities, and the
food is always wonderful. We live in the Dallas area and getting away
to Biscuit Hill for a long weekend is absolutely the best way to relax
and enjoy the Texas Hill Country. The breakfast is like none you've
ever had and Diane and Dean go to great lengths to make it an enjoyable
and memorable experience for all their guests. Biscuit Hill is truly a
Texas experience that I would encourage potential guests to give
serious consideration."— Linda - Red Oak, TX

"I stumbled on the Biscuit Hill website while trying to find a nice
B&B in the Texas Hill country at the last minute (nearly impossible
to do). This was the BEST B&B we have ever stayed at! Our room was
large and homey with a GORGEOUS view. The location is within 20
minutes of many small, artsy towns for daytrips, the property is
secluded and relaxing, AND the breakfast is to die for! (Our
breakfast on Saturday included baked, spiced peaches on top of spice
cake....mmmmm!)

"This B&B is more than just a room. Be sure to allow time in the
early evening to sit outside and feed the deer while you watch the
sunset.... and NEVER leave in the morning before breakfast."—
Maggie - Houston, TX

"Our first B&B experience was at Biscuit Hill in June 2000, and we
have been going back ever since. We have stayed at Biscuit Hill at
least twice a year ever since our first stay in 2000. We have stayed
at other B&Bs since then, and none have compared to the comfort of the
room, the wonderful breakfasts, the friendly and professional
innkeepers, and the whole environment-lake view, deer feeding, etc. We
definitely consider Biscuit Hill our "home away from home" because the
beds are as comfortable as our bed at home and the amenities are
wonderful. We have stayed at Biscuit Hill so many times that we have
just about stayed in every room in the house, and they are all equally
nice. Every time we leave, we can't wait to plan our next trip back. I
would highly recommend Biscuit Hill to anyone planning a trip to the
Texas Hill Country."— Terri - Spring, TX

"What a great place to stay and a welcome retreat after spending 4
days in San Antonio. The innkeepers are some of the most professional
that I have ever met and we have been staying at B&B's for many years
in many states. They knew to give us our privacy. They actually asked us what we would like for breakfast and
accommodated our special requests. We stayed in the Lone Star with a Hot Tube, which we didn't use, and a
small terrace and private entrance. Their website is excellent and is
accurate and gives you a great feel of the B&B."

"My wife enjoyed the special soaps and the bed was very comfy and
there was a ceiling fan. The room came with a refrigerator and
microwave which was handy.
A Binder with information of the area, restaurants and directions was
excellent. We enjoyed feeding the deer from the patio area and yes
they come running as soon as you shake the pitcher. We enjoyed our
stay so much we added a day and cancelled our last night at a airport
hotel. I wish more B&B owners would take the time and make the effort
like Biscuit Hill did."— Jim - Long Island, NY

"Biscuit Hill has the location, amenities, and service that I
believe puts it at the top of the best B&B's, anywhere. I feel I can
make this observation after having stayed at many different B&B's
through out the U.S. and Europe. What makes Biscuit Hill so special?
First off, it is beautifully situated in a thickly wooded hillside
overlooking Canyon Lake. Rooms on the lakeside of the house all have
balconies or porches with pretty views. Next, the well appointed,
different themed rooms are spotless and have the most comfortable beds
that I have ever been in outside of my own bedroom. The delicious
breakfasts are a terrific way to get your day off to a great start.
The kind hostess and her husband do not live at the B&B, but do live a
stone's throw away, which affords the guests at Biscuit Hill privacy
and seclusion. Yet, they both always seem at hand or available when
needed, and can always be counted on to recommend a good restaurant or
give touring tips. The wood and lake views, feeding deer in the
backyard, building a fire outside in the pit anytime you want, oh, and
did I mention the complimentary candies and nuts, they leave for
guests in the common area of the residence. It is these little extras
that I believe put Biscuit Hill in it's own league. Biscuit Hill is
the kind of place you want to return to again, and again, and again.
It has become our home away from home."— Dave - Seabrook, TX
